The SCHSA works closely with the staff at Shamona Creek and sometimes a few extra hands are needed to execute an event put on by SCHSA or the teachers themselves. Do you have a helping hand? A philanthropic heart? This committee has helped with such things as curb appeal on the school grounds, service projects, a clothing drive, as well as with the annual art show and health screenings.
The Helping Hands committee is currently organizing the following programs:
- Bulletin Board (inside)
- Community Service
- Grounds Beautification
- Lost & Found
- Picture Day
- School Sign (outside)
- Vision and Hearing Screening
